Energy Storage Contract Template and Library of Key Terms

SGP reviewed and recommended updates to Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company’s (“Greenbacker”) template Energy Storage Agreement (ESA) contract to enable Greenbacker to have a standardized template for use in diverse markets across the U.S.  SGP developed a library of options for key energy storage system contract parameters such as availability guarantees, operating parameters, testing protocols, and station use power provisions, enabling Greenbacker to select the best options within the template for a given project while maximizing consistency across its fleet.
